Projectman is proud to be a long-standing partner of the Slovak eFOCUS Project Management Conference (Projektový manažment), which is celebrating its milestone 20th anniversary. This year’s conference will focus on the hard reality: why large projects fail and how to make better decisions in practice before a minor issue escalates into a major crisis.

Our Senior Consultant and Projectman representative for Slovakia, Ľubomír Slocík, will deliver a talk at the conference on PMI methodologies for large projects (Giga Projects).

 

In his presentation, Ľubomír will focus on a crucial question: Why do large projects fail, even when methodologies exist?

  • Methodologies are not enough: Why the mere knowledge of methodology and processes has never been and is still not enough.
  • Reality vs. Theory: What are the main reasons for the failure of complex transformation and infrastructure projects.
  • Lessons learned: A practical perspective on risk management and decision-making in demanding environments.
