Data Analyst with Russian

For a rapidly growing digital bank in the Central Asia region, we are looking for experienced Data Analysts focusing on regulatory reporting to strengthen the existing data team in delivering mandatory reporting for the local regulator.

What you will do:

• Analyze regulatory and business requirements and translate them into clear specifications for the data team.
• Design data models and structures required for regulatory reporting.
• Define control mechanisms and data quality rules to ensure correct and consistent outputs.
• Prepare validation scenarios and verify the correctness of the reporting with the business.
• Collaborate closely with data engineers and hand over prepared analytical specifications for implementation.
• Act as a liaison between the business, risk, compliance, and data development teams.

What you should have:

• Senior-level experience as a Data Analyst (6+ years) in an environment with established processes and complex data.
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory reporting (ideally from a banking environment).
• Russian language at a very high level (C1+ / native) — all documentation and communication are in Russian.
• Solid knowledge of SQL and data modeling (DWH concepts, star schema).
• Ability to communicate with the business, understand its needs, and translate them into clear specifications.
• A strong sense of precision, quality, and consistency in data outputs.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of the specifics of Central Asian / Russian-Eastern banking regulations (which differ from European regulations).
• Experience with BI and data visualization (Power BI).
• Communicative level of English (min. B2).
