German-Speaking Senior ERP Project Manager | Microsoft Dynamics 365 I 50-80% FTE

We are looking for an experienced Senior ERP Project Manager to join a large-scale international Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementation within a European industrial group.

The role sits directly on the business / local entity side of the programme. You will represent the local organisation throughout the implementation, coordinate internal stakeholders and key users, and act as the key counterpart to the central implementation team.

The current scope includes Core Finance, Project Management, and Supply Chain Management, with Field Service and CRM planned for subsequent phases. The initial implementation is taking place in Germany and will provide a foundation for further European rollouts.

Your responsibilities

• Take ownership of project delivery and related activities on the local business side of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementation.
• Establish and maintain effective project governance, planning, risk, and issue management.
• Challenge the central implementation team on timelines, dependencies, work packages, risks, and delivery commitments.
• Maintain a clear internal project timeline aligned with the overall programme plan.
• Coordinate business workstreams and key users across the organisation.
• Collect, structure, and prioritise business requirements and ensure their effective communication to the implementation team.
• Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders, including requirements gathering for upcoming Field Service and CRM phases.
• Coordinate business readiness, testing activities, test scenarios, and cut-over preparation.
• Identify delivery risks early, drive mitigation actions, and escalate where necessary.
• Provide clear and transparent project reporting to senior management and central Programme Management.
• Act as the key interface between the local business, central implementation team, and other programme stakeholders.
• Support the preparation for subsequent multi-country rollouts.

What we are looking for

• Proven hands-on Project Management experience with complex ERP implementations – essential.
• Strong practical experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementations is highly preferred.
• Experience managing ERP implementations from the business / client side is a strong advantage.
• Solid understanding of the full ERP implementation lifecycle – requirements, planning, configuration/development, testing, cut-over, and go-live.
• Experience with Finance, SCM, Project Management, Field Service, and/or CRM modules is an advantage.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence working with senior business stakeholders.
• Ability to challenge implementation teams, ask the right questions, and drive clear commitments around scope, timeline, and delivery.
• Assertive and proactive approach, with the confidence to address difficult topics and escalate risks when necessary.
• Strong project governance, planning, and risk management capabilities.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or similar delivery tools.
• Experience working within international / multi-country ERP programmes.
• Fluent German and English – both are required.
• Czech or Slovak is an advantage, but not required.

Project setup

• Start: ASAP
• Working model: Fully remote with occasional travel to Germany for key meetings, workshops, and project milestones
• Capacity: Approximately 50–80% until the end of 2026, followed by approximately 50% during 2027
• Current scope: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Core Finance, Project Management and SCM
• Next phases: Field Service and CRM
