D365 Solution Architect
We are looking for an experienced D365 Solution Architect to become a key technological pillar of an international Center of Excellence (CoE) within a robust energy group.
Your main mission will be to take the reins of a large-scale ERP system architecture, set clear rules of engagement for external vendors, and ensure that the implementation makes both business and technological sense across several European countries.
If you thrive on challenges where you can leverage deep technical expertise alongside strong diplomatic and consulting skills at the top management level, this role is for you.
💼 Project & Role Description
-
Architecture & Governance: You will be part of an international Architecture Board. You will gain a strong mandate to review, guide, and—if necessary—correct or reject proposals from large external integrators.
-
Business Consulting & Communication: You will act as a bridge between the technical world and top management (including CFOs). Your task will be to translate complex business requirements into clean MS Dynamics 365 standards without bending the system with unnecessary custom code.
-
International Scope: Coordinating the program and aligning processes within an international team (a combination of German and Polish consultants) with an impact on branches in Germany, Poland, Italy, France, and the Netherlands.
-
Hands-on Approach: Forget rigid corporate governance. The branches are mid-sized (30–500 people), and the culture is highly agile and hands-on. You will not only design the system but must also be willing to roll up your sleeves and configure it yourself when needed.
🎯 Requirements
-
Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience with MS Dynamics 365 (F&O / AX) as an architect or senior functional consultant.
-
Module Expertise: Deep expert knowledge of key modules—Finance (financial management, consolidation) and Project Operations are top priorities; Supply Chain Management is a significant advantage.
-
Consultative & Diplomatic Approach: The ability to assertively defend the right technical solution, combined with the art of listening and finding compromises. We are looking for a sparring partner, not a radical.
-
Language Skills: Excellent English (C1) is a must for daily written and spoken communication. German is a major advantage (for leading workshops).
-
Mobility: Willingness to travel abroad occasionally (Germany, Poland, Italy)—estimated 1x per month for 2–3 days (valid driver's license is required).
-
Expected Certifications: For a candidate of this seniority, we expect certifications such as Dynamics 365: Finance and Operations Apps Solution Architect Expert (MB-700) or equivalent functional certifications.
ℹ️ Contract Details
-
Type of Engagement: Contract (Freelance / B2B / MD rate)
-
Start Date: August, September, at the latest October 1st, 2026 (for a top candidate with a notice period, we are willing to wait until November 1st).
-
Project Duration: Long-term cooperation for years to come; the project has no fixed end date.
-
Travel Expenses: All costs associated with occasional business trips abroad are fully covered by the company extra (on top of the MD rate).
