Senior Product Owner – Mobile Application

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Product Owner to take ownership of an ongoing mobile application transformation project within an international healthcare and medical technology environment. The application supports healthcare professionals throughout the surgical procedure lifecycle.The existing application is undergoing a significant redesign and further development. 

You will join an established, dedicated team, take over the current product concept, and translate business requirements into actionable development priorities.

This is an opportunity for a Product Owner who enjoys working close to the business, making independent decisions, and driving tangible product outcomes.

Your Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the ongoing transformation of an existing mobile application.
• Review and finalize existing use cases and translate them into well-structured user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Own, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog in alignment with business objectives.
• Define the scope and sequence of functionality delivery, ensuring a consistent product concept.
• Work closely with business stakeholders and end users to clarify requirements and understand their workflows.
• Collaborate with a dedicated development team
• Support refinement, sprint planning, and ongoing delivery activities.
• Work with the team on wireframes and functional specifications.
• Make pragmatic product decisions and proactively resolve open questions throughout development.
• Bring structure, ownership, and consistency to the product development process.

What We Are Looking For

• Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, ideally with hands-on responsibility for software product development.
• Practical experience with mobile application development and a solid understanding of mobile user experience and its differences from desktop applications.
• Strong ability to translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and development priorities.
• Experience managing a product backlog and working closely with Agile development teams.
• Business-oriented mindset into practical solutions.
• Ability to work independently, make decisions, and bring structure to an environment where processes are not always fully defined.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent English (C1-C2) for daily communication in an international environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience in healthcare, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or life sciences.
• Previous collaboration with healthcare professionals or field-based teams.
• Familiarity with Salesforce, CRM platforms, or applications built within the Salesforce ecosystem.
• Experience with user-facing or B2C-oriented mobile applications.
