Data Governance Lead

• Coordination of communication and training initiatives to promote data governance awareness.
• Championing initiatives to enhance data accuracy, integrity, and reliability.
• Leading and developing the data governance team.
• Providing thought leadership on data governance best practices and emerging trends.
• Developing compelling narratives and presentations to communicate the value of data governance initiatives to senior executives.

Who we are looking for:

• Proven track record of leading and implementing data governance programs in a complex organizational environment.
• Experience in developing and maintaining data governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
• Demonstrated success in driving data quality and integrity initiatives.
• Proficiency in data governance and MDM tools and technologies (e.g., Semarchy, Cluedin, Stibo, SAP MDG, Purview, Alation).
• Strong understanding of data management practices (e.g., MDM, data lineage, metadata management, data quality management, and data stewardship).
• Expertise with data quality monitoring behind transactional data.
• Knowledge of data and analytics product certification processes.
• Experience in promoting self-service delivery of data and analytics while maintaining governance and security controls.
• Strong understanding of data security and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA).
• Experience with data integration, ETL processes, and database management systems.
• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
• Experience in facilitating training and workshops.
• Solid project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously..
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CDMP, DGSP) are an advantage.
