Power BI analyst/developer

What You’ll Do:

• Migrate dashboards and reports from Qlik to Power BI, ensuring continuity and improvement in data storytelling.
• Quickly familiarise yourself with the existing semantic model and provide actionable feedback for its enhancement.
• Design and develop advanced visualisations that are both insightful and aesthetically engaging.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand analytical needs and translate them into intuitive Power BI solutions.
• Ensure reports are optimised for performance, usability, and scalability.
• Maintain documentation and version control for all Power BI assets.
• Support business in their data analytics self-service.

What You Bring:

• Proven experience in Power BI development, including DAX, Power Query, RLS, and data modelling.
• Strong understanding of data visualisation principles and dashboard design.
• Experience migrating from Qlik or similar BI platforms to Power BI.
• Ability to interpret business questions and translate them into compelling visual narratives.
• Snowflake knowledge is an advantage.
• Familiarity with semantic models and enterprise data architecture.
• Background in business operations, healthcare, or life sciences.
• Experience with user-centred design and UX principles.
• Knowledge of SQL and data warehousing concepts.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English
