Specialist for Implementation and Validation of the DeltaV System (Pharma Automation)

Main Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate the completion of development and implementation of the DeltaV system.
Translate process requirements (URS) into software solutions.
Ensure collaboration and communication among three key parties:
process and automation design supplier (external contractor),
Emerson (system programming),
internal user team.
Review and approve design proposals and software modifications.
Organize FAT/SAT testing, validation, and system qualification.
Manage vendor relations, negotiations, and agreements.
Work closely with the manufacturing team and automation experts directly on site.

Advanced experience with the DeltaV system (Emerson) – ability to communicate effectively with programmers, understand system architecture, and have hands-on experience with configuration/programming.
Background in the pharmaceutical industry (ideally including experience with system qualifications and validations).
Knowledge of automation design and processes in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Ability to work at the intersection of process engineering and software architecture.
Strong project management skills, particularly in supplier management, multi-party coordination, and facilitation of collaboration.
Negotiation and communication skills – the role requires daily interaction with contractors and manufacturing.
English level C1.

Technical leader with strong project management capabilities.
Able to work in an environment with frequent changes and incomplete requirement definitions.
Proactive and persistent in driving tasks to completion.

On-site role – daily presence on site is required (minimum 4 days per week).
Project aimed at implementation in early 2026, with possibility of extension.
International collaboration (Austria – design supplier, Emerson, international contractors).
